In his first weekend of action donning the Purple and White, Carter Combs made his presence felt in a big way. After a quiet debut in the season opener versus Muskingum, Combs exploded for 21 points the next night on the Muskies home floor to help lift Capital to its last second 73-72 victory. The freshman guard finished Saturday nights game shooting 50 percent from the floor on seven of 14 shooting, including four three-point field goals, to tally a total of 21 points.
